PRESS RELEASE: ASIIBII LAUNCHES THE #WeareallPoets (WaaP) CHALLENGE ACTIVITY

One week after the release of Asiibii’s Social Justice Advocacy Spokenword Poetry Album, She has launched an activity targeted at inspiring the next generation of social activists and poets.

The #WeareallPoets (WaaP) challenge is geared towards ensuring continuing of impact, especially as it relates Pre-teens and Teens.
The challenge activity is open to individuals between 7-15 years of age; and the timeline for the activity is between August 4th – 18th 2023.

In a statement released on her social media platforms, she wrote,

I’m excited and honoured to introduce to you, the #WaaPChallenge. This activity is exclusively for pre-teens and teens; and the justification behind the choice of this set of individuals is to ensure continuity of impact. If we intend our legacy to last the test of time: we must ensure that the ones coming after us are nurtured early enough.
…This is also a call for partnership and sponsorship, paradventure you or your organisation would love to sponsor either of the participation prizes.

We would be having two sets of winners for each win category. One would be on merit, and the other based on engagements.

I am positive that you all would give this your maximum support. I look forward to making more impact with you.
