ANN NJAGI
Ann is a specialist in Global Development & Health Communications, Media, Campaigns & Advocacy, Climate and environmental advocate, Human Rights defender who is passionate about women empowerment, child protection, open democracy, humanitarian issues and alleviating suffering of the vulnerable communities on a global scale. She has extensive experience gained within several roles in public, private & International organizations and has led several teams across Africa and globally.

Additionally, she has been involved in implementing community based health projects targeting women and children and has witnessed the huge potential that data-informed and evidence-based communication interventions have in influencing health actions. She has leveraged digital and traditional media in strengthening health education campaigns. In her many years in communications field, she has been driving the organizations’ brand presence through engaging content creation, social media management and storytelling.

With the alarming rise in femicide cases across Africa, in March 2024, Ann joined thousands of women human rights defenders, feminists and other organizations to organize a protest against ending femicide in Kenya. A strong statement was issued to call on the authorities to action and protect all the women from murder and violence but also condemning the public’s silence and in some instances distasteful conversations on social media platforms that blame the victims.


Ann is passionate about contributing to positive change and has insatiable desire to help people particularly the vulnerable group. She believes in a world where everyone has equal rights and opportunities. Ann is a member of FEMNET, Africans Rising; Pan-African Network for Gender Justice (PANGEJ).
