Achiri Constance Amboh
Achiri Constance is a highly accomplished Town Planning Engineer, with a passionate commitment to environmental protection and women’s empowerment. As the founder and coordinator for HAND IN HAND Cameroon and the Pan-African Network for Gender Justice; she is a leading voice in the fight against climate change and gender inequality.

Her work focuses on empowering communities through skills training and climate-friendly initiatives, actively promoting the rights of women and girls. Achiri leads advocacy campaigns, organize conferences, mentor young women, and conduct workshops to build capacity and foster leadership.



Her dedication has been recognized through numerous awards, including being named among the top 7 climate leaders to watch in 2023 by World Pulse, the Arm Talks award for Gender Advocacy in 2018, leading HAND IN HAND Cameroon to the Africans Rising Movement of the Year award in 2024, and recognition from the Women empowerment ministry for supporting rural women within communities.
She is driven by a vision to transform lives, inspire others, and cultivate a new generation of innovative and empowered women.
